Mount Stays Patent Litigation Against Several Electronic Retailers

Mount represents an “Alliance” of Taiwan-based public companies in a patent dispute over modular power supplies used by gamers. While the main litigation was in progress, plaintiff Streak Products, Inc. (formerly Ultra Products, Inc.) filed a separate suit against several retailers that sell the accused products. Mount brought together the “Alliance” manufacturers and the named retailers in a multi-level defense and indemnity effort and won an administrative termination of the case. No further action is required until a decision is rendered in the main case against the manufacturers.
