Daniel S. Mount, Principal

Daniel S. Mount was one of the first graduates to earn J.D. and M.B.A. degrees concurrently from Santa Clara University. He established a firm that would utilize both his legal and business education to bring practical solutions to his clients’ legal business problems.

Mr. Mount is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience representing clients in state and federal trials throughout the United States. For over 30 years, he has practiced business and IP litigation in the heart of Silicon Valley. He has worked on cases involving memory, semiconductor structures and their fabrication methods, medical devices and a variety of electro-mechanical technologies.

Mr. Mount continues to practice globally, advising and representing high-tech companies based or doing business in Taiwan and China.

In addition to Mr. Mount’s professional accomplishments, he has made significant contributions to the community, having lent his time to his alma mater, Santa Clara University, as a member of the Board of Regents and as past Chair of the Board of Fellows. Additionally, he served on the board for local nonprofits and has acted as past Chairman of the Board at Hope Services, and member of the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for EHC. He has also been involved in legal organizations as Chairman of the Business Litigation Section of the County Bar of Santa Clara and as a member of the AIPLA.
