International Trade Commission (ITC) Proceedings

Companies increasingly turn to the ITC to enforce intellectual property rights to challenge products being imported to the U.S.

In U.S. federal courts, patent infringement litigation frequently spans three to five years. Before the ITC, ligation is distilled to a 12 to 18 month time period. Discovery is expedited, there is no jury, and the U.S. Customs Agency enforces ITC rulings.
